Chouchou's composer, arabesque Choche, known as a pianist and an accomplished composer in Japanese electronic music scene, specialized in classical music from an early age in Japan and Austria under the influence of his Czech father, who was also a pianist. With his exceptional musicianship and delicate sensibility rooted in his strong background, and with a diversity that is not limited to a single genre, he has expanded his music beyond genres, from electronica to classical, ambient, pop, and post-rock. His lyrical music, which cannot help but draw listeners in, has recently invaded the Lofi Hip-Hop genre. And he has started a new solo project named "no go". In 2020, he released his first album "no go" entitled after his own artist name. Utilizing his own strengths cultivated over many years as a composer, he sought to create a new Lofi Hip-Hop sound that is not mainly based on sampling, and his musicality has evolved even further in a new genre without wavering.

Then, in 2022, time is ripe for the release of his second album, "FIGARO," a superb masterpiece that is perfectly balanced with uncompromising sound creation in every detail throughout the album. It is no exaggeration to say that this second album is the culmination of his journey as a Lofi Hip-Hop artist. The carefully calculated, beautifully polluted, comfortable sound is more refined than ever, offering listeners a unique immersive experience with an abundance of lyricism. Surely, it will make you want to return again and again to drown yourself in the world of his music.

ピアニストでもあり、日本のエレクトロニカ界の名手として知られるChouchouのコンポーザー、arabesque Choche。チェコ人でピアニストだった父の影響を受け、幼少期より日本国内とオーストリアでクラシック音楽を専門に学び、その強力なバックグラウンドに裏付けられた類稀なる音楽性と繊細な感性、また、一つのジャンルに囚われない多様性を武器に、これまでエレクトロニカを中心に、クラシック、アンビエント、ポップス、ポストロックとジャンルを越えて活動の幅を広げてきた。そして聞き手を惹き込まずにはいられない叙情性溢れる彼の音楽は、近年Lofi Hip-Hopのジャンルに侵出。新たに「no go」というソロプロジェクト始動させた。2020年にリリースした、自身のアーティスト名を冠したファーストアルバム「no go」では、コンポーザーとして長年培ってきた自身の強みを生かしたサンプリング主体ではない新しいLofi Hip-Hopの音作りを模索し、新たなジャンルに於いても彼の音楽性は揺らぐことなく更なる進化を遂げた。

そして2022年、満を持してリリースされるセカンドアルバム「FIGARO」は、アルバムを通して妥協のない音作りが細部まで施され、二作目にしてLofi Hip-Hopアーティストとして彼が辿り着いた一つの答えと言っても過言ではないほど、完璧なバランスで作り上げられた傑作。緻密に計算され、美しく汚された心地の良いサウンドは、より一層洗練され、有り余るほどの叙情性を持って聞き手に独特な没入感を提供してくれる。きっと幾度となく繰り返し、その音楽が見せてくれる世界に浸りたいと感じさせるだろう。
